nasya is a treatment that is of great value to treat vital organs such as the brain or sensory organs in the head space. Various substances with different effects are applied through the nostrils. Depending on the indication, the introduced drugs have harmonizing, nourishing, or cleansing effect on the "higher" control centers.
nasya is classically one of the five karmas within a panca-karma program, however, a nasya -therapy can also be performed at any time as an independent treatment, as well as serve as part of daily morning routine.
This workshop demonstrates the practical application and gives an insight into the classification and effect groups of the nasya Species with their different substances.
