Dr. Jacqueline Repmann (D)

Dr. med. Jacqueline Repmann is President of the German Society for Ayurveda (DGA) and one of the leading medical voices for the integration of Ayurveda into contemporary healthcare in Germany. As a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery with additional qualifications in rheumatology, physical therapy, and integrative medicine, she combines many years of clinical leadership with a holistic and patient-centred understanding of medicine.

Since 2016, she has served as Medical Director of a specialised orthopaedic hospital in Bad Düben, where she advocates for the integration of holistic and preventive approaches into modern patient care. Alongside her conventional medical work, she completed postgraduate training in Ayurvedic Medicine at the European Academy of Ayurveda (REAA) as well as advanced studies in pulse diagnosis and phytotherapy.

As President of the DGA, Dr. Repmann is strongly engaged in professional exchange, quality development, and the responsible integration of Ayurveda in Germany and represents the DGA within ADAVED – Ayurveda Dachverband Deutschland e.V. She has also played a leading role in the further development of the Ayurveda Congress organised by the DGA as an important platform for dialogue between Ayurveda and modern integrative medicine.

She is furthermore active within the German Ayurveda Foundation and committed to a responsible and evidence-informed integration of Ayurveda into clinical and medical contexts.

At the Ayurveda Symposium 2026, Dr. Repmann will speak on “Fascia – the Effectiveness of Ayurveda, Yoga, Movement, and Traditional Medicine in Chronic Inflammation”, connecting modern fascia research with holistic therapeutic approaches from Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine.
