Dr. Andrea Küthe-Albrecht is an expert in indigenous medicinal plants and Ayurvedic phytotherapy. As a biologist with a doctorate, meditation teacher and Ayurvedic nutritional therapist, she combines her scientific knowledge with the traditional Indian art of healing. In doing so, she addresses the need of many people for scientific explanations without neglecting the holistic approach of Ayurveda. In 2017, Andrea Küthe Albrecht founded the Freya School of Medicinal Plants in the canton of Fribourg.

Several specific examples are used to show how plants are classified energetically and used specifically for various psychological stresses.

It explains how western herbs are selected and used based on their effect on the doshas. The course shows how holistic support for the psyche is possible by taking into account the individual constitution and energetic properties of the plants.

The aim of the lecture is to provide practical insights into the use of medicinal plants that can be easily and effectively integrated into everyday life to promote emotional stability and mental balance.
