Ayurveda has a great wealth of knowledge in gynaecology. This includes practical everyday recommendations and specific measures such as vaginal enemas or hormone-regulating gynaecological herbs. The therapy is preceded by a diagnosis - and here, menstruation also reflects female health in general. So what does a healthy menstruation look like and how does an "impure" menstrual bleeding appear? And what can women themselves contribute to a symptom-free menstruation?
