In 2019 he was additionally initiated into Kriya Yoga.

Since 2006, Roman Skazhenikov has been running his own practice in Leipzig, specialising in scoliosis therapy, osteopathy, Ayurveda medicine, and orthopaedic yoga. Within the Rosenberg Ayurveda Health & Treatment Centre, he is particularly known for his work in the specialised PhysioVeda programmes, where Ayurveda, physiotherapy, yoga therapy, and movement medicine are combined into integrative treatment concepts for chronic inflammation, rheumatic disorders, spinal conditions, and pain syndromes.

At the Ayurveda Symposium 2026, Roman Skazhenikov will contribute practical perspectives on movement therapy, fascia, posture, and integrative approaches for chronic musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions.
